Art Advisory Services
A key benefit of choosing to work with an independent art advisor is the promise of their objectivity in their advice and counsel. I am independent of any ties to artists, dealers, galleries and auction houses, and I do not sell art. My independence ensures that your interests will always come first.
To select and purchase fine art I tap into an extensive network of dealers - local, provincial, and national galleries, unaffiliated artists' studios, and fine art auctions.
Artworks are selected based on originality, quality of execution, the artist's record within their chosen field, and so forth. I work closely with the client to ensure my selections reflect their taste and budget.
To review artworks and make strategic recommendations, I draw on years of training and experience, long-term relationships and industry knowledge.
Before recommending a purchase I evaluate the condition of the artwork.
The current market conditions are evaluated and I will perform all necessary price research before recommending an artwork.
Collecting art is not just an aesthetic endeavor, it can also be another form of asset allocation. I can address the artwork's potential for investment value over time.
Once I have obtained the client's approval I will acquire the artwork. I will negotiate with galleries and advise on the bidding process at auction.
Working with the finest framers, I will have your artwork beautifully framed as appropriate in archival-quality materials. Framing is critical to a work of art for both presentation and protection. Improper framing can damage works of art. Poor frame choice is also a missed opportunity to best showcase the work of art and in turn your environment.
I will arrange to have your new art installed according to contemporary museum practices, displaying it to its maximum benefit. I will arrange delivery, administer paperwork and take care of any special needs.
Please contact me for an appointment. I look forward to working with you!
